The Ask

For the launch of OCVIBE, the ambitious new mixed-use entertainment district in Anaheim, CA, FGPG partnered with Show Ready to turn a large transit hub into an immersive, large-scale preview experience showcasing the best of what will soon change in the city.

Utilizing The ARTIC (Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center) - an 82,000 square foot space, the event needed to feel like a destination unto itself. The installation needed to:

  • Capture the energy and identity of OCVIBE’s future entertainment district.
  • Deliver high-impact photo opportunities that would drive social sharing and media coverage.
  • Create visually cohesive environments across multiple activation zones for food, music, sports, and more.
  • Blend both fabricated elements with organic, live materials for a dynamic, layered aesthetic.

The Solution

We designed and fabricated multiple large-scale experiential environments throughout the ARTIC, transforming both indoor and outdoor spaces into a branded, immersive experience. The scope spanned exterior signage, interior photo activations, a custom market facade, and expansive vinyl graphics - all coordinated to deliver a visually seamless environment that felt both alive and polished.

Design and Build Strategy

With 82,000 square feet of space, the goal was to deliver bold, high-craftsmanship fabrication that could hold its own across the room while retaining rich details up close.

Our exterior presence included:

  • A 119” wide photo op install on Level 1 to anchor the exterior. Profile-cut letters at 4” thick, finished with inkjet printed graphics and satin painted edges, mounted on a laminated base.
  • RGBW LED uplighting gave the exterior element a dramatic nighttime impact and social-ready visual depth.

Interior activations:

  • A wood constructed interior photo-op featuring open-faced dimensional letters set within a painted frame, with integrated pockets to hold live foliage - adding organic texture and warmth to the fabricated structure.
  • Anaheim Ducks ticket game and fan store debuted new season merch while gamifying the experience with giveaways if they found the right ticket flying around the glass case.

Market Hall facade:

  • We fabricated a striking 39’ x 15’ custom market facade, creating an architectural centerpiece that anchored the event’s Market Hall environment.
  • The structure balanced scale with craftsmanship, delivering a storefront-level detail in an event context.

Environmental Graphics

  • Dynamic, large-format vinyl graphics were produced and installed across expansive Music Zone areas, ensuring cohesive branding and visual energy throughout the venue.

The Results

  • The ARTIC was fully transformed into an immersive experience that previewed Anaheim’s next great entertainment destination - generating excitement among attendees, media and stakeholders, while providing rich context of what’s to come.
  • Exterior and interior photo-ops drove strong social sharing, extending the event’s reach well beyond the venue.
  • The custom market facade and Music Zone graphics created distinct, memorable environments within the larger event footprint.
  • Every fabricated element - from the LED-lit exterior letters to the foliage-integrated interior build - demonstrated our ability to deliver craftsmanship at scale without sacrificing detail.

Working alongside FGPG, the teams moved seamlessly from concept to installation - producing environments that felt architecturally bold while being human in the detail.
