The Ask
Caltech celebrated 100 years of discovery by developing a centennial exhibition spanning six venues across the campus, and was in need of a fabrication partner capable of bringing the sweeping, multi-venue exhibit to life across three distinct thematic sections: The Infinite Lawn, Time Stream, and Powers of Ten. The scope was broad: indoor and outdoor installations, fine art reproductions, custom display environments for three named galleries (the Linde, Gates and Dabney), alongside a full suite of wayfinding and graphic signage spread across the Pasadena campus.
The work had to feel cohesive while allowing each section at every venue to own its own identity. It had to meet the exacting standards of an institution known for inventing precision.
