MOTHERS POLISH

The Ask

SEMA is the Super Bowl of the automotive aftermarket. Spanning 2,500 exhibitors, 160,000 attendees, and four days to make your brand the one people remember walking away, the pressure is high to execute a great booth. For Mothers Polish, a California-born car care brand with decades of credibility on the show floor, the brief was clear: build a 30x80-foot presence that lived up to the brand.

The scope called for a 2,400-square-foot footprint in the Central Hall with:

  • Two dedicated private meeting rooms for partner and distributor conversations
  • Centralized product display areas and rolling display cases for the full car care lineup
  • An overhead presence large enough to be seen from across the hall
  • Clean, high-end finishes that were unmistakably Mothers from every angle

THE SOLUTION

Show Ready fabricated the structural core, millwork, and graphics for the Mother's Polish exhibit, translating a big brief into 2,400 square feet of environment you could feel.

Structure and Meeting Rooms

Two modular meeting rooms formed the functional backbone of the booth. Each measured 9 feet 9 inches wide by 14 feet 8 inches high and was finished to hold up under four days of continuous use:

  • Interior wall panels in white and black created clean, refined surfaces throughout
  • Red vinyl graphics on the door panels carried the Mothers brand color to every touchpoint, including the ones guests encounter on the way in

Millwork and Counters

The product display program was built around a suite of custom millwork:

  • Four radius display counters with white laminate tops defined the product display zones across the floor
  • A straight counter with lockable storage rounded out the program
  • The curved counter profile gave the booth a considered aesthetic that stood apart from the hard-cornered grid of everything around it

The Hanging Sign

The overhead moment was a 30x70-foot double-sided stretch fabric hanging sign, suspended above the full footprint on:

  • Six half-ton motors
  • 192 linear feet of truss

Readable from the far end of Central Hall, it turned the Mother's footprint into a landmark before anyone got close enough to read a counter graphic. It wasn't subtle, and it wasn't meant to be.

Graphics and Finishing

The graphic program ran across every surface in the booth:

  • Eleven dye-sublimation SEG fabric panels wrapped the meeting room walls, ensuring every private conversation happened inside a fully branded environment
  • Nine additional SEG graphics covered the counter faces
  • High-end furniture such as black leather sofas, end tables, and stools completed the meeting room interiors

Results

The Mothers Polish booth at SEMA delivered exactly what the brief called for.

The 30x70-foot hanging sign established the Mothers' footprint as a landmark in Central Hall before anyone set foot in the booth, drawing traffic from a distance and orienting attendees across the floor. On the ground, the results spoke for themselves:

  • The radius counters and consistent red-and-white graphic system created a cohesive environment that read as polished and intentional across all 2,400 square feet
  • Two private meeting rooms gave the Mothers team dedicated space for real conversations with retail partners, distributors, and industry contacts — without ever stepping outside their own brand environment
  • Product display surfaces kept the full car care lineup accessible and front-facing for all four days of the show

Why It Matters

SEMA rewards brands that commit. A 30x80 footprint with a sign that covers the whole thing, two private meeting rooms, and display surfaces built for the product tells the industry something before a single conversation starts. Because fabrication that doesn't earn its place in the room isn't worth the floor space.
